About CIIT

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), began its journey in 1998 and founded the first campus in Islamabad in April 1998. In August 2000, in recognition of CIIT \ achievements, the federal government acknowledged its role in awarding degrees Institute (DAI) by publishing a policy document. CIIT addition to its main campus in Islamabad, has six other full campus fully in Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari, although on some campuses are in various stages of planning. Advice to the federal law also in the process of opening a campus abroad, the Persian Gulf region.

Vision:

CIIT is dedicated to the pursuit of truth by a progression of learning and expand the frontiers of knowledge, and disseminate this knowledge through education and training in different academic disciplines, and this knowledge to benefit the people of Pakistan and in particular and the Islamic Ummah and the world in general.

Mission:

The Institute's mission is threefold, namely research and discovery, teaching and learning, and outreach and public service.
