Samsung Galaxy Q ready to launch: another new android mobile

As the competition in the mobile phone industry getting tougher day by day, there are new phones in the market by each manufacturer to ensure that they are keeping up with the trends in the industry. As a part of this, Samsung is launching a new addition to their super success Galaxy series, Samsung Galaxy Q. The touch screen Android smart phone is GSM supporting currently and there are rumors about a CDMA version of Galaxy Q.

The phone has the smallest touch screen which is very handy and attractively designed. It is 3 inch in size and SUPERAMOLED and has a screen resolution of 720x480 pixels. The operating system that runs the Samsung Galaxy Q is Google android v2.2 Froyo accompanied by a 1 GHz Humming Bird processor. The phone supports QUAD BAND GSM 850/900/ 1800/1900 MHz and 3G network in HSDPA with a speed of 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA with a speed of 5.67 Mbps. There are two ports for data cables provided in the phone. One is the usual USB 2.0 port while the other is a rare mini HDMI port. As far as the rumors concerned it is heard that the Samsung designed the smart phone aiming to give the toughest combination to Black Berry who are the pioneers in the field of smart phones.
