About VU

The Virtual University of Pakistan's first University located entirely on new developments and communication technologies, was organized by the Government and the public sector, nonprofit institution with a clear mission to provide world class education readily available to Esperanza students across the country. The use of open-air satellite television broadcasts and the Internet, the Virtual University allows students to pursue rigorous programs regardless of their physical location. It thus aims to address the lack of capacity within the universities to meet the critical shortage of qualified teachers in the country. By identifying the most important teachers of the country, regardless of their institutional affiliations, and were asked to develop and offer courses in crafts, the Virtual University aims to produce the best golf courses, not only for their own students, but also to all students from other universities in the country.The Virtual University of Pakistan has a Federal Charter, so that their qualifications recognized and accepted throughout the country and abroad.

The University opened its virtual doors in 2002, and in a short period of time, its scope has grown to more than sixty cities with over a hundred associated institutions providing infrastructure support to students. Pakistani students residing overseas in several other countries in the region are also enrolled in the University.
